Fried Plantains Collective is a community development project which aims to organise LGBT, feminist and African related social events in Dublin where people from these communities can come together to engage each other, celebrating our voices in Ireland.
FPC is created by Osaro Azams, a lesbian feminist African woman living in Ireland for 15 years with a passion and 3 year degree in Community Development. The collective was made due to observing a lack of LGBT African friendly spaces in Dublin. Fried Plantains Collective is a way to create a music gigs, film screenings, talks, field trips and spoken word and collaborate with other deadly people!
